 The objective of the course is to train those present in the conceptual managment of the different kinds of Grounding Systems, as well as provide them with design elements to guarantee people's safety, overvoltages control and the adequate interpretation and aplication of the RETIE (Technical Regulations of Electric Installments) dispositions.
Schedule: - Basic concepts and functions of grounding.
- Grounding mesh tension during failures in the electric system.
- Land resistivity measurement.
- Grounding resistance measurement.
- Pass and contact tensions measurement.
- RETIE (Technical Regulations of Electric Installments) demandings in Grounding systems.
- Grounding systems for sensitive electronic equipment.
- Grounding systems for atmospheric discharges.
- METREL 2088 ground meters - EUROTEST.
- Field practice.
